Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she sang at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Theater. When she moved from Missouri to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theater arts acting and choreographing in over 2 dozen musical and stage productions including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and seven title roles with LA's award-winning Storybook Theatre. While continuing to study the art of improvisation at The Groundlings and becoming a Company member of Theatre West Kelly also started getting roles for television and in film. Her distinct voice and diminutive stature has allowed her to play a variety of characters. She has worked with Naomi Watts in The Ring 2 as the evil Samara, but she is better known as the bright and bubbly receptionist from Two and a Half Men. Kelly worked as a TV Land series regular between 2011 and 2015, appearing as paralegal during the daytime and a party girl at night. Kelly was also a regular as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister in ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the mother of a stressed suburban family in the CW show No Tomorrow. Her soprano voice has been lent by her singing voice to a variety of cartoons such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. In the last few years, she has been in the role of the slow but charming Cloud 9 employee on NBC's hit comedy Superstore. She lives a quiet life that is quite quiet, with two children younger than five years old. She loves to sew and writes and is a volunteer in various school activities.
