Maria Bartiromo - the American television journalist and broadcaster who was the first broadcaster to stream live through the New York Stock Exchange - is known for several of her highly successful shows. Over the course of her twenty-year career as a journalist, Maria Bartiromo had a significant role in the establishment of the television channel CNBC to be one of tops in business and economic reporting. Maria's highly successful journalism professional career suggests she was meant to be in the field. Yet as a young woman Maria was confused as to which career path to choose. Her dream was to be singing one day, then become an interior designer in the next. Journalism was just too compelling for her not to take it seriously. The award was given to her as one of the fifty Faces who Shaped the Decade she also became the first journalist of female gender to be recognized in the Cable Hall of Fame. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actor in film as well as on stage since the latter part of 1970. A gifted thespian, she has been active in the professional world over the last 27 years. Her career began in the year 1990 with an off Broadway production of The Big Funk, by John Patrick Shanley. The Perfect Tribute was her first role on TV within a year. Her biggest break in her career came about in 1992 when she played a supporting role in the movie Basic Instinct. The Firm is where she first made her appearance as a female actor alongside Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman. Throughout the 1990s she worked with some of the biggest stars in the industry including Gwyneth Paltrow on Sliding Doors Hugh Grant in Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews in Relative Values. She played Dr. Alex Blake on the well-known international crime show Criminal Minds.
